Position Summary: The Judge Group is seeking an organized, analytical and detail-oriented intern to join our Finance & Accounting department, supporting our Tax Accounting team for our 10-week Summer Internship Program. This opportunity offers structured learning, and a deeper understanding of the day-to-day responsibilities of an F&A department in the professional services industry. You will gain hands-on experience in all facets of our finance and accounting department under the guidance of an assigned mentor and supervisor. Clear expectations and goals will be set to ensure a successful internship experience.
Responsibilities Responsibilities: - Assist with the preparation and filing of tax returns for individuals and businesses.
- Conduct research on tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Support the tax team in identifying tax-saving opportunities for clients.
- Help with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Maintain and update client records and databases.
- Assist in the preparation of tax planning strategies and presentations.
- Provide administrative support to the tax accounting team, including scheduling meetings and managing correspondence.
- Participate in client meetings and assist with client inquiries.
Qualifications Qualifications: - Currently enrolled in an accredited 4-year college/university. Majoring in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
- Strong interest in tax accounting and compliance
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges
- Knowledge of Tax systems a plus
