Accounting Officer

Watson Realty Corp is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Remote Accounting Officer to join our finance team. This role is essential in maintaining the integrity of our financial operations by ensuring accurate record-keeping, timely reporting, and compliance with applicable accounting standards. You will possess strong analytical abilities, exceptional organizational skills, and the capability to work independently in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and manage accurate financial records, ensuring timely and compliant reporting
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, budgets, and reports
Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, investigating and resolving discrepancies
Ensure adherence to company policies, financial regulations, and industry best practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making
Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and cost management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in accounting or financial management
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or equivalent platforms
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work effectively in a remote and collaborative environment.
