We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Aerospace Design Review Engineer to lead the review and validation of engineering drawings and models, ensuring precision, compliance, and completeness. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining product definition integrity, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and enhancing design processes within the aerospace sector.

• Review and approve engineering drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards (e.g., ASME Y14.5, ISO GPS).

• Participate in business requirement discussions and offer technical recommendations.

• Identify and communicate any non-compliance issues (e.g., omissions, inconsistencies, errors) to project teams for resolution.

• Ensure all documentation meets national, international, and company-specific design standards.

• Apply sound knowledge of engineering principles , drafting practices , and industry specifications .

• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project leads to ensure functional and customer-aligned design outputs.

• Maintain accurate documentation of revisions, versions, and approvals for traceability.

• Conduct reviews of 3D models and verify alignment with corresponding engineering drawings.

• Evaluate and approve tolerance stack-up analyses for design accuracy and manufacturability.

• Mentor junior team members in best practices for drafting, design, and documentation.

• Recommend and implement process improvements to minimize recurring quality issues.

• Domain Expertise: Aerospace Mechanical Engineering, Product Definition Engineering

• Tools & Technologies: SolidWorks, Catia V5, GD&T, Tolerance Stack Analysis, ASME Y14.5-2009, ISO GPS, Engineering Drawings

• Platforms: Simulink/Matlab (EIS)

• Minimum 8 years of experience in design or manufacturing, preferably in the aerospace industry .

• Certified or proven experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) for a minimum of 5 years .

• Extensive experience in SolidWorks and/or Catia V5 for 3D modeling and drawing validation.

• In-depth understanding of engineering drawing types (orthographic, isometric, sectional).

• Familiarity with international drafting standards such as ASME Y14.5 and ISO GPS .

• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective team and customer collaboration.

• Hands-on experience with product lifecycle, module development, and release processes.

• Ability to interact directly with customers, understand requirements, and implement tailored solutions.

• Must meet ITAR compliance requirements (U.S. Citizen, GC, or H1B).

• Previous role as a Design Engineer with team leadership or mentoring responsibilities.

• Familiarity with data triaging and segregation.

• Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives .

• Customer-facing experience in gathering requirements and defining technical solutions.
