Job Description:
Southwest Airlines is seeking an experienced Anaplan Model Builder to support the design, development, and optimization of Anaplan models that drive critical business planning and decision-making processes. This is a remote opportunity where you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable, efficient Anaplan solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain Anaplan models to support financial, operational, and strategic planning initiatives.
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into Anaplan model designs.
• Ensure models are optimized for performance, scalability, and accuracy.
• Implement best practices in model building, including modularity, usability, and sustainability.
• Troubleshoot, support, and enhance existing models and processes.
• Provide user training and documentation for Anaplan models and processes.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, and technology teams to align models with business objectives.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience as an Anaplan Model Builder.
• Proficiency in building and maintaining complex Anaplan models.
• Ability to translate business requirements into effective Anaplan solutions.
• Experience with data integration between Anaplan and other systems.
• Strong understanding of model-building best practices and governance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Anaplan Level 2 Model Builder Certification (highly preferred).
• Experience working in airline, travel, or transportation industries (nice to have but not required).
• Prior experience in financial planning, supply chain, or operational planning processes.
