Role & Responsibilities:
We are seeking a junior-level Assistant Project Manager (APM) or Assistant Superintendent to join our team for an exciting project with the NYC School Construction Authority (SCA) . This role will support the overall management and supervision of a school construction project located in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. The APM will assist the Project Manager and Superintendent in ensuring that the project is delivered on time, within scope, and meets quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing day-to-day project operations, ensuring smooth coordination between contractors, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Support in tracking project schedules and milestones, identifying potential delays, and helping to develop mitigation plans.
• Monitor and report on-site activities, ensuring that work is being performed in compliance with SCA standards and safety protocols.
• Assist in managing project documentation, including RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and change orders.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure that all project goals and objectives are met, from budget to timeline and quality control.
• Participate in client and team meetings, preparing progress reports and updates as required.
• Assist in coordinating inspections and ensuring the project meets all building codes and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in construction management, with experience working on public projects preferred.
• Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, MS Project, or similar tools.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset.

New York City Equal Pay Disclaimer Infinite Consulting Corp carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s experience, education, and training. The estimated salary for this position is $34 – 45/hour
