Are you an organized and detail-oriented bookkeeper with a passion for accuracy? We're looking for a reliable and experienced part-time Bookkeeper to join our remote team. In this role, you will help manage and maintain the financial health of our business while working from the comfort of your home.

Position Summary:
As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing timely financial reporting. Your expertise will directly contribute to the financial success of the organization and allow us to focus on delivering excellent services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Record Keeping: Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of all recorded transactions.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
Budgeting: Assist with budget preparation and monitoring, providing insights and recommendations based on financial data.
Payroll: Coordinate with HR to ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time.
Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations (federal, state, and local) and assist in preparing documents for tax filings.
Expense Management: Oversee expense reports, manage petty cash, and ensure all spending stays within budget limits.
Software Management: Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks experience required) to maintain financial records and transactions.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel).
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
High attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective remote interactions.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
