Job Description

We are seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer with at least 3 years of experience in concrete restoration, waterproofing, building structural inspections, and project management. This position offers an opportunity to work on challenging projects that enhance the durability and longevity of commercial, industrial, and residential structures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct structural assessments and inspections of buildings, parking structures, bridges, and other concrete structures to identify damage, deterioration, and necessary repairs.
  • Develop and implement concrete restoration and waterproofing solutions , ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Prepare engineering reports, drawings, and specifications for repair and rehabilitation projects.
  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, and budgeting to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to provide technical expertise and recommend best practices for structural rehabilitation.
  • Conduct field testing, condition assessments, and forensic investigations of concrete structures.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, industry regulations, and safety standards.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining clear communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Monitor and document construction progress to ensure adherence to design specifications and project requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in concrete restoration, waterproofing, structural inspections, and project management.
  • Professional Engineer ( PE ) license or ability to obtain one preferred.
  • Strong understanding of reinforced concrete structures, repair materials, waterproofing systems, and corrosion mitigation techniques.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis software.
  • Knowledge of building codes and industry standards (ACI, ASTM, IBC, ASCE).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • Strong project management experience with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for client interactions, report writing, and technical documentation.
