Job Description and Duties

DUTIES:   Under the direction of the Custodian Supervisor I, this position is responsible for:

removing all trash, vacuuming carpets, sweeping/mopping and cleaning bedrooms and kitchens, cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms, dusting furniture, tables, window sills, and ledges, washing entrance windows, sweeping outside entrances and walkways, replacing light tubes and bulbs, removing cobwebs, assisting in moving and arranging furniture. Setting up tables and chairs for training and student activities. Cleaning rooms and changing bed linens in POP cottages, dusting Venetian blinds, vacuuming drapes. Perform school-wide trash details. Operating various cleaning machines such as shampooer, stripper, and buffer. Adhering to standard infectious disease practices.

Special Requirements

• The position requires a background check and TB clearance prior to being hired.
