Job Description

Department Overview: Next Door and Window installation department focuses on the highest quality installations of Windows and Doors for residential projects. Position Overview: To successfully complete the role of Installer at Next Door and Window, the candidate should:

  • Possesses fanatical attention to consistency and detail
  • A willingness to learn ND&W installation methods
  • Follow the installation procedures that are outlined in our installation manual
  • To include proper Installations (Plumb, Level, & Square)
  • Includes proper flashing methods used on all installations
  • Installation of new Drip Caps for a proper water management system
  • Includes proper insulating techniques with our (All seasons foam)
  • Install interior Trim as required to cover paint lines
  • Crisp exterior capping per contract specs’
  • Finish caulking bead that is smooth and bonds to all substrates
  • Professional ongoing communication with each customer sharing details of each job
  • C.O.D. collection on all installations
  • Attend Bi-weekly Level 10 Installation Meetings held 2nd & 4th Wednesday at 7:00 am
  • Provide Service repairs on installed Jobs as required by your manager
Basic Qualifications:
  • Ability to take initiative, resolve jobsite issues, and to work in a team environment is essential
  • Honest & Transparent with customers, must be able to multi-task, be a self-starter and re-prioritize tasks involved in completing daily workload
  • High attention to detail on all tasks performed, execution on all installations, and follow-up communication relaying information to the main office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of technical problem-solving skills and people skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum two-three years of experience in residential Window & Door Installations
  • Basic construction Knowledge
  • Tech savvy while using smart phones
Job Requirements
  • Monday through Friday work weeks with some scheduled Saturday’s
  • Travel to all daily job sites
  • Please note that the schedule of employees may vary based on the needs of the department and it is not necessarily limited to a set number of hours.
  • Timely completion of all Installations
  • Ability to lift heavy Windows and Doors
  • Good Driving record
