Position: Google Workspace Administrator
Description:
Responsibilities: • Oversee Google Workspace management, including GMail, Calendar, Groups, Shared Mailboxes, Google Sites, and associated policy and account management.
• Manage and monitor sync tools and schedules to ensure proper logging, email alerts, and reports for all activities.
• Oversee eDiscovery / Litigation Holds; provide work direction to lower-level analysts and programmers.
• Review workflow and limitations to determine if requested capability or modification is possible within existing configurations and systems.
• Study information processing capabilities to evaluate effectiveness and develop new capabilities to improve production or workflow.
• Prepare workflow charts and diagrams to specify in detail operations to be performed by computers and operations to be performed by personnel.
• Plan and prepare technical reports and instructional manuals and assist in the documentation of applications development.
• Perform routine assignments that require conferring with end-users to analyze requirements, such as forms of data input, data manipulation and summarization, and report formatting.
• Escalate issues to vendors and third-party entities as necessary and as directed by the Government.
Requirements: Required Skills: • Professional Google Workspace Administrator Certification.
• Advanced knowledge of enterprise email systems and SMTP servers/clients. Experience supporting and troubleshooting Google SMTP services, DMARC, encryption, routing, Anti-Spam/Virus, and delivery issues.
• Public Trust Clearance and ITILv4 Foundation Certification by start date.
• Expertise on multiple complex work assignments; assignments may be broad, requiring originality and innovation.
• Ability to develop methodology and present solutions with appreciable latitude.
• May supervise lower-level staff if required.
• Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.
• Analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to implement and improve computer systems.
• Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote or partially remote environment, and supervision/leadership experience.
• Possess strong oral and written communication skills with all staff levels and clients.
• Maintain standard working hours and availability for meetings during business hours.
• Demonstrated ability to apply comprehensive knowledge to high impact assignments and use practical experience and training to determine task approach.
Preferred Skills: • Basic networking concepts including DNS, network topologies, firewalls, proxies.
• Understanding of mail routing (SPF, MX, DKIM, DMARC).
• Scripting experience with Google Workspace API and command-line tools.
• Experience using ServiceNow for ticket and inventory management.
• Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Slack, and ServiceNow.
• Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including holidays as scheduled.
Education and Experience: • Bachelor\'s degree.
• 4 - 9 years of experience.
