Brief Description

The HR Associate will play a key role in supporting the Human Resources team with an emphasis on full-cycle recruitment. This individual will partner closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, coordinate candidate sourcing, and ensure a smooth onboarding experience. Additionally, the HR Associate will assist with general HR operations, including employee relations, compliance, and HRIS maintenance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Previous experience in a professional services firm, particularly accounting or finance, is a plus
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with discretion and professionalism
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Summary

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for both professional and administrative roles across the firm
  • Partner with department heads to define role requirements and develop job descriptions
  • Post jobs to internal and external job boards, professional networks, and university portals
  • Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate interview scheduling with hiring teams
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future hiring needs
  • Develop relationships with colleges, universities, and accounting organizations for campus recruiting and internship programs
  • Assist with employer branding efforts and recruitment marketing initiatives.
  • Assist with onboarding processes including new hire documentation, orientation, and system setup
  • Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS and applicant tracking systems
  • Support benefits administration and respond to employee inquiries as needed
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives
