**Patient Billing Specialist (IDR Specialist)**

**Location:** Remote, Texas

We are actively looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented IDR Specialist to join our team. We are seeking a candidate who is meticulous, has strong time management skills, and possesses a foundational understanding of medical billing practices.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Review and analyze Explanation of Benefits (EOBs)
- Assess eligibility for Non-Signatory Agreement (NSA) Open Negotiations and Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR)
- Ensure adherence to NSA Open Negotiation protocols and timelines
- Verify and audit Open Negotiations for precision and accuracy
- Manage the submission process for initial Federal IDR cases
- Monitor and document the progress of individual accounts undergoing IDR

**Qualifications:**

- Proficiency in English communication, both spoken and written
- Prior experience in medical billing is advantageous
- Familiarity with Free Standing Emergency Room operations is highly desirable
- Ability to thrive under tight deadlines in a dynamic work environment
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

**Compensation:**

- Competitive hourly rate ranging from $19 to $21, commensurate with experience

**Work Schedule:**

- Full-time position, 40 hours per week
- Flexible shift options available
- Monday to Friday
