This  Accounting Consultant will be reporting directly to the Controller and will work alongside a highly motivated and independent accounting team. As an  Accounting Consultant you will be able to participate in process improvement projects and have the chance to grow in your career.

Accounting Consultant Responsibilities:

• Manage reconciliation of bank accounts
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Maintain the general ledger
• Responsible for month-end close, including preparation of all journal entries/accruals necessary to complete monthly financials
• Review financial statements for accuracy
• Prepare financial reports for senior management
• File and review tax forms with federal, state and local agencies

• 7+ years of general ledger accounting experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or economics highly preferred
• 4 years of experience with a large ERP system such as Oracle, SAP, NetSuite or Great Plains
• Ability to run the month end close process independently
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex financial information applying advanced accounting principles and your strong understanding of GAAP
• Knowledge of general ledger chart of accounts and expense coding
