Compensation Range: $52,000 - $72,800 annually

Compensation will be dependent upon geographic region, education, and experience

Job Description



The Maintenance Manager  is responsible for the daily maintenance, preventative maintenance, and any/all repairs to all properties, including oversight and project management of all outside repair vendors. The Maintenance Manager is also responsible for ensuring ongoing compliance with any/all regulatory bodies in the environment of care and life safety areas.

Responsibilities

  • Hires and manages maintenance workers
  • Supervises maintenance workers and contractors
  • Manage all emergency services and systems (Exit signs, fire extinguishers, etc.)
  • Sets the shift schedule and assignments
  • Develops maintenance policies and procedures
  • Orders tools, supplies, and equipment
  • Responds to maintenance requests
  • Maintaining preventive maintenance standards for facilities and equipment
  • Leads safety inspections at worksites
  • Performs maintenance work as needed
  • Evaluate worksite(s) to determine necessary maintenance work
  • Escalates issues to management and recommends solutions
  • Ensures all employees follow all company policies and procedures
  • Assist employees with any internal moves
  • Move and/or lift boxes and equipment
  • Provide on-call support as needed
  • Respond to 24-hour emergency maintenance needs
  • Ensure all employees adhere to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety regulations
  • Oversees inspections of elements for buildings and grounds; like elevators, fire alarms, and sprinkler systems
  • Comply with all applicable codes, standards, and regulations of all licensing agencies, The Joint Commission and Federal, State, and Local Laws
  • Other duties as assigned

This is a full-time position working onsite at our residential treatment center Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm.

Qualifications

  • College degree in a related field preferred
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • At least five or more years of maintenance experience and a strong understanding of basic math and measurement are required.
  • Must be familiar with the Joint Commission accreditation standards.
  • Experience in property maintenance and facilities management
