Role: MES Consultant

Location: Remote

Duration: 3-6 months

Required skills:

• Client is also seeking a consultant for an MES implementation, specifically for a pharmaceutical manufacturing process.
• The company has an implementation partner handling the technical side, so this role will focus on the business process side.
• Experience with Apprentice.io (their MES product) is preferred, with an emphasis on understanding business process flows and system integrations.
• Analyze current manufacturing processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization using MES.
• Understand client needs and translate them into technical requirements for MES implementation.
• Provide expert advice on MES solutions, best practices, and industry standards.
• Develop and present recommendations for MES implementation and optimization.
• Manage and develop client relationships.
• Design and configure MES systems to meet specific client needs and requirements.
• Integrate MES with other enterprise systems, such as ERP and PLCs.
• Develop and implement MES solutions tailored to the specific needs of the manufacturing environment.
• Participate in the design of client information systems.
• Manage MES implementation projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clients, internal teams, and vendors.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Provide training to client personnel on the use of MES systems.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for MES systems.
• Investigate client issues and communicate key insights and findings to the product team.
• Document MES configurations and validate Electronic Batch Records (EBRs).
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
