Job Description

Salary: $118,200 - 204,300 per year Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting related to applications and infrastructures.
• At least 4 years of experience in specific technology domains (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data and analytics).
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in IT development, implementation, or consulting within the software or Internet sectors.
• Experience in transforming or migrating legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
• Proficiency in working with AWS technologies from a development and operations perspective.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze business challenges and assist private equity clients in understanding the strengths and weaknesses of their acquisition targets.
• Remain objective and prioritize the best interests of the client.
• Aid companies in developing and implementing information technology (IT) solutions.
• Recommend industry-relevant solutions that allow organizations to leverage technology and create value.
• Exhibit extensive technical knowledge, including expertise in legacy systems and data center technologies.
• Establish technical credibility and effectively engage in discussions with CTOs, CIOs, Chief Architects, Senior Developers, and M&A Deal Teams across the private equity segment.
• Define customer engagement scopes with clarity and well-defined objectives and success criteria.
• Provide technical and architectural guidance to private equity firms and their investments; assist in developing cost optimization strategies.
• Collaborate closely with private equity firms and their portfolio companies to ensure they have the necessary technical resources for successful adoption of AWS services.
• Build strong relationships with executives at both private equity firms and their partner companies, utilizing your insights into enterprise architecture, mergers and acquisitions, migration, and IT infrastructure cost optimization.
• Support the broader AWS customer base by conducting specialized workshops and training sessions.

The ideal Solutions Architect will perform objective analyses of intricate IT workloads, including legacy systems, and generate high-quality written reports. Basic interviewing skills and deductive and inductive reasoning are essential in the context of technical M&A activities. Our goal is to foster strategic thinking about business needs and possess a thorough understanding of complex legacy IT environments, encompassing applications, middleware, storage, networks, information security, and operations. You will collaborate closely with AWS Account Solutions Architects, Business Development, and Professional Services teams to facilitate the migration and development of cloud-native applications that drive growth and transformation for our customers.
