STATE PARK INTERPRETER I / CAPITOL DISTRICT / LELAND STANFORD MANSION STATE HISTORIC PARK MUSEUM / SACRAMENTO, CA

The reporting location for this position is the Leland Stanford Mansion State Historic Park Museum, located at 800 N Street, Sacramento CA. This position will work under the direction of the State Park Interpreter III.

This position assists with daily program and event operations at Leland Stanford Mansion SHP and helps to coordinate tours, the tour reservation program, interpretive programming, and special events.  The Interpreter I, is a member of the Capital-Mansion Sector leadership team, works closely with staff from other disciplines and performs their duties with a commitment to quality visitor service.

Training and Development Assignments may be considered.

This position is designated as not telework eligible.

Occasional travel may be required. Possession of a valid driver’s license is required when operating a state-owned or leased vehicle.

The selected candidate is required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan fingerprinting prior to appointment.

Working Conditions

Typcially, Monday through Friday, can work holidays, weekends and evenings for special events and programs.
