Job Description

This mission-driven nonprofit based in Washington, DC is seeking a motivated professional with two or more years of HR or recruiting experience, as well as demonstrated Greenhouse Applicant Tracking System (ATS) experience, to join their HR team. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is proactive, personable, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role involves full-cycle recruiting with daily communications with candidates and internal staff. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support all aspects of the recruitment process by creating ads, sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews using strong communication skills, and managing the applicant tracking system, Greenhouse.
  • Learn the needs of the team to best determine, source and place candidates.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to candidates throughout the entire interview process.
  • Act as the liaison between candidates and the HR team.
  • Work with the HR team to create sourcing strategies, support talent searches, and record candidate activity data.
  • Maintain accurate data and track key metrics.
  • Take initiative in training team members on the use of Greenhouse ATS and support adoption across the organization.
  • Support other recruiting programs, projects, and virtual/in-person hiring events as needed.
  • Schedule interviews and organize calendar management across a variety of teams. Actively gather team feedback, share insights, and contribute to improving the candidate and hiring team experience.
