Job Description

As a Tracker Marine Lead Boat Sales Consultant at Cabela's of Mitchell, your primary responsibility will be to assist customers in finding the perfect outdoor boating solution for their needs. Our ideal candidate is passionate about the boating industry and can leverage their expertise to provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers both in-person and over the phone to understand their outdoor boating needs and provide personalized recommendations.
• Guide customers through the entire boat purchasing process, including presenting options, negotiating pricing, and managing paperwork.
• Effectively demonstrate a deep knowledge of different boat models, features, and accessories to showcase the value of each product.
• Collaborate with the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets, while ensuring a customer-centric approach.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with clients to foster customer loyalty and generate repeat business.
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing showroom, ensuring all boats and accessories are clean, fully operational, and well-presented.
• Provide timely and accurate information regarding product availability, pricing, and delivery schedules to customers and colleagues.
• Assist with after-sales support by coordinating delivery arrangements, addressing customer concerns, and managing any necessary product returns or exchanges.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new boat releases, and competitor offerings to provide informed recommendations to customers.
• Actively participate in training programs and sales meetings to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.

Requirements

• Prior experience in boat sales or a closely related field is highly preferred.
• Passionate and knowledgeable about the outdoor boating industry, with a genuine desire to help customers find the perfect fit for their needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
• Strong negotiation and selling skills to promote products effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.
• Detail-oriented mindset with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Familiarity with basic computer systems and the ability to quickly learn new software applications.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
