Job Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Instructional Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in conceptualizing, designing, and developing engaging training modules tailored for a diverse audience. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing workforce development through innovative learning solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Development: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to assess training needs and develop comprehensive e-Learning, instructor-led, and blended learning training modules.
Project Management: Lead the scoping and planning of learning solutions, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines. Manage multiple training curricula, overseeing their design, development, and ongoing maintenance.
Training Delivery: Facilitate engaging training sessions and workshops, both virtually and in person, for various audiences. Provide hands-on support during course offerings, ensuring a positive learning experience.
Course Evaluation: Analyze course effectiveness through observations and participant feedback, recommending improvements to enhance learning outcomes.
Instructional Design: Utilize tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, and Microsoft Office to create high-quality training content. Design and develop instructional strategies and measurable objectives for all training deliverables.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, managers, and external partners. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share information and address challenges effectively.
Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry best practices in training and instructional design. Identify opportunities for process enhancements and contribute to a culture of innovation.
Compliance and Standards: Ensure all course materials meet corporate and security standards, maintaining high-quality content for training programs.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Education, Instructional Design, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: A minimum of seven years in instructional design, training development, or related fields, with a strong focus on adult learning methodologies.
Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and instructional design tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Captivate). Familiarity with graphic design and technical documentation is a plus.
Analytical Skills: Advanced analytical and project management abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical and non-technical information clearly and effectively.
Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and build relationships with various stakeholders.
Desired Skills:
Experience with consulting to identify performance gaps and determine effective learning solutions.
Knowledge of additional tools and platforms, such as EnableNow, SAP, and graphic design software.
Proven experience in agile environments, contributing to flexible and adaptive project management.
