Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Title Assistant to support our real estate title operations. This role is critical in helping process title orders, review property records, prepare closing documents, and ensure smooth communication between clients, lenders, agents, and title officers.

Key Responsibilities:
Open and process title orders and input data into the title software system

Review and verify property records, legal descriptions, liens, and ownership history

Order and track title searches, surveys, tax certificates, and other related documents

Prepare title commitments, policies, and settlement statements under the guidance of a Title Officer

Communicate with real estate agents, attorneys, lenders, and clients to gather information and resolve title-related issues

Assist in preparing and organizing closing packages and ensure timely document delivery

Maintain accurate and up-to-date files and documentation in compliance with industry and company standards

Provide administrative support to title officers and escrow staff as needed

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional real estate or title coursework preferred

1+ year of experience in title, escrow, or real estate administration preferred

Familiarity with title software (e.g., SoftPro, RamQuest, ResWare) is a plus

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
